Handplanes thicknessing jig for kumiko strips or other small and precise pieces dimensioning.

Base made from two 15 mm Birch plywood and Oak fence and side rails.

Thickness can be set by combining the four spacers. It includes a 2 mm, 3 mm and two 4 mm. Without any spacer the thickness is 15 mm maximum.

For in between thicknesses shims of paper or cardboard can be used. Rail length is 305 mm (12”) therefore the maximum length of the piece planed.
